How to Play Music on Multiple Phones Simultaneously

Imagine you organized a party at your home or went on tour with your friends. The main accessory to vibe at the party, apart from the drinks or food, is the Speaker. But what if you have forgotten to bring it? The entire vibe you expected cannot be seen at the party. Do not fret; we have a solution for you. You can use the Android Phones as the Speaker. You can sync multiple phones and listen to the same music to get a sound effect, which is better than speakers. As Android Phones don’t have a built-in option to do this, the only way to listen to the same music on multiple smartphones is to use the music sync apps. If you are unsure which one to choose and how to set it up, go through this guide. 

Sync and Play Music on Multiple Phones Using SoundSeeder App

1. Connect your Android Phone and friends’ phones to the same WiFi. 

Note – Connecting to the same WiFi is mandatory to use the SoundSeeder app.

2. Take your phones and open the SoundSeeder app. If you don’t have the app, get it from the Play Store. You can choose only one device as the Player (Primary Device) and other devices as the Speakers (Secondary Devices). 

3. On your primary phone, open the SoundSeeder app and click My Music on the home interface. Then, choose a song of your choice to play. If you want to listen to radio, tap Online Radio and choose a Radio Station.

4. Simultaneously, on the secondary phones, click Connect to Player and select SoundSeeder Player on the app’s home screen. 

5. Now, you will see a message on the secondary phones indicating that the device is connected to the primary phone. Within seconds, the song will be played on all the smartphones at the same time. 

On the secondary phone, you can find the Sync button on the app’s playback, which syncs the song again and plays it. 

You can control the playback controls like volume, fast forward, rewind, repeat, and shuffle of the song from the primary phone. Tap the three-dotted icon and select Resync Playback if you find non-syncing issues. You can also see the option All Speakers on the menu.

Select this option to view the secondary phones connected to the primary device. Tap Track Details on the menu to view the song details. 

Use Group Sessions on Spotify to Play Same Music on Multiple Phones

Some music streaming apps, like Spotify, have a collaborative feature called Group Sessions. This feature is available to anyone with Spotify Premium. The Group Sessions lets up to five people (Spotify Premium Users) listen to the same music from anywhere in the world.

All the users in the Group Sessions can have equal control over the music playlists. Just go to the Spotify app and play any song. Tap the Connect Device icon on the playback screen and hit the Start a Jam button to start the Group Sessions on Spotify. Click the Invite or Share the Link button to share the group session link with your friends via any medium. Once the people join the link, they can also listen to the same music.
