Many banks offer facilities to withdraw cash from ATM using UPI, net banking apps, or an OTP-based system. Steps to Withdraw Cash from ATM using UPI

The steps to withdraw cash from an ATM using UPI may vary depending on the ATM you use. Below, we have mentioned the steps for the SBI ATM.

1. Instead of inserting the ATM card into the ATM, press the UPI QR Cash option on the ATM’s home screen.

2. Enter the amount you want to withdraw from the ATM and tap Continue.

3. A QR Code will be shown on the ATM screen. Next, open any UPI app on your smartphone, such as Google Pay or Paytm.

4. Click the Scan QR Code option on the UPI and scan the QR code that is present on the ATM screen.

5. Verify the amount you need to withdraw on the UPI app and enter the 4 or 6-digit UPI PIN. Then, tap Withdraw Amount from ATM.

6. Once your payment is verified, withdraw the cash from the ATM without using the physical debit card.

Steps to Withdraw Cash from ATM using IMT Feature

Besides the UPI app, you can also use the IMT feature to withdraw money from an ATM without a card. For that, you must set a Self Withdrawal transaction request on Net Banking or Mobile Banking.

1. Set a Self Withdrawal Transaction Request on the Net Banking App

1. Open your bank’s Netbanking app on your smartphone and log in.

2. On the app, select the Banking Tab and tap the Cardless Cash Withdrawal option.

3. Click the Self Withdrawal option, and you need to set a 4-digit sender code for your choice. To set this code, you must first enter the ATM PIN to grant access.

4. Next, re-enter the 4-digit sender code for confirmation.

2. Cash Withdrawal Steps from ATM using IMT

1. On the ATM screen, select the Withdraw Cash Without Card (IMT) option.

2. Enter the mobile number registered with your bank account and tap OK.

3. Now, the ATM will ask you for the 4-digit sender code. Enter the code on the ATM.

4. Next, you will receive a Security SMS Code on your mobile from the bank.

5. Enter the SMS code on the ATM screen and enter the amount you want to withdraw.

6. Finally, collect cash from the ATM without using any ATM card.
