Instagram does not have any option to show the people who unfollowed you. You need to rely on third-party websites to identify your non-followers. To identify who unfollowed you on Instagram, you first have to download your followers’ data from Instagram. Then, upload those data on a third-party website to find the accounts that do not follow you back on Instagram. Note that you need to manually find the account from the generated list that unfollowed you on Instagram.
Steps to Download Followers Data on Instagram
1. Open Instagram on your smartphone and click the Profile Icon.
2. At the top right corner of your profile page, tap the Hamburger menu.
3. Select the Accounts Centre option.
4. On the Accounts Centre page, click the Your Information and Permissions option in the Accounts Settings section.
5. Tap Download your Information and select Download or Transfer Information. With this option, you can download or transfer the report of your Instagram Activity, Personal Information, Connections, Logged Information, etc.
6. Next, click on Some of Your Information. Then, scroll down to the last and checkmark the Followers and Following options from the Connections section. Tap Next.
7. Then, if you want to send the report to your Google Drive or DropBox, tap the Transfer to Destination option. If you want to download the report directly to your device, tap Download to Device.
8. On the Create Files to Download page, select the Instagram account from which you want the information and choose the Date Range.
9. Then, below the Notify option, it will display your registered email ID, where you will receive the file. Also, you need to choose the Format and Media Quality. Finally, tap Create Files.
10. Now, you need to wait a few minutes. The file will be sent to the registered email address. You can check the status of the report under the Current Activity section from the Download Your Information page.
11. Once you receive an email from Instagram, launch the Instagram app again and go to the Download Your Information section. Tap Download and enter your Instagram password to proceed.
12. Now, the file that you have downloaded will be available on your phone’s local storage. In the file that you have received, you will get the list of your followers, follow requests you’ve received, profiles you have blocked, accounts you are following, recent follow requests, recent profiles that you have unfollowed, profiles restricted, pending follow requests, and suggestions removed by you.
Upload the Data on the Instagram Website
1. Launch any browser on your smartphone and visit https://www.listdiff.com/. On the home page of the website, there will be two fields named List A and List B.
2. Next, open the report and copy all the profile names from the Following report. Paste all the names of the accounts that you are following on the List A field of the website.
3. Then, copy all the account names from the Followers file and paste them on the List B field of the web page.
4. Click on the Compare Lists button and you can see the result at the bottom of the page.
5. At the bottom of the page, you will find a field named A Only. Here, you can find the accounts that do not follow you back on Instagram.
