Generally, you can view your phone’s call history to a certain extent on the default Phone app. If you have deleted those call histories for some reason or accidentally, you cannot recover them from your phone. However, by using the official app of your telecommunications service provider or contacting the customer support of the provider, you will get a detailed report of your phone’s call history. How to Check Deleted Call History for Airtel Users
If you are an Airtel prepaid user, you can get a detailed report of your outgoing SMS and call history by messaging Airtel’s customer care. However, you can request the call history report only for the last 6 months.
1. Open Messages on your Android or iPhone.
2. Click the New Message icon or Start Chat button on your smartphone and initiate a chat with 121.
3. Next, on the text field, you need to enter the message “EPREBILL,” followed by the desired month name for the report and your email address in the format, “EPREBILL DECEMBER email“.
4. Tap the Send icon and within a few seconds, you will receive the Ebill for your mobile number to the email address that you have mentioned.
5. The Ebill is protected with a password and the password for the report will be sent to you separately via text message.
6. Open your email and enter the Password to access your Ebill.
Once you open the report, you will get a detailed report of your outgoing call history and outgoing SMS such as the Date, Time, Number, and Duration.
In addition, you can use the Airtel Thanks application to view your call history details. To do it, navigate to the Airtel Thanks app and select the Usage option. Then, hit the option Call History or View Detailed Usage to get the report.
How to Recover Deleted Call History for VI Users
If you are a VI user, you might be using the VI app to recharge your talk time and data plans. You can use this app to recover your deleted call history.
1. Launch the VI app on your smartphone. If you don’t have the app, install it from the Play Store or App Store.
2. After launching the app, enter your Mobile Number and tap Send OTP to receive OTP from VI.
3. Enter the OTP on the required field and you will be granted access to the VI app.
Steps to Get Call History Report
1. On the home screen of the VI application, click on the My Account tab at the bottom.
2. In the My Prepaid Account page, select the Usage History option below the Active Packs & Recharge History section.
3. In that, click on the Calls & SMS menu at the top and select the Get Prepaid Bill option at the bottom.
4. A menu will appear on the app screen. You need to enter the Email Address and tap Register My Email ID.
5. You will receive an OTP to the email address that you have mentioned. Open Email and look for any email from VI. If it is not in the inbox, check the Spam folder.
6. Enter the OTP on the app and tap Verify.
Note: Since you have registered your email ID with the app for the first time, it will take 30 minutes to activate your email address. You can raise your request only after your email is activated.
7. After 30 minutes, launch the app, tap the VI Account tab, and tap the Get Prepaid Bill option from the Calls and SMS menu.
8. Now, you need to select the month to receive that month’s e-bill. You can get the report only for the last six months. So, choose any Month or multiple months from the past six months and tap Email Bill.
9. Within 1 hour, VI will send your call history report to your email address.
10. Open the mail from the Spam folder if it is not present in the Inbox. Since the Ebill PDF is protected with a password, you need to type the password to access it. The password for the PDF will also be present in the same email itself.
11. Finally, open the bill PDF and enter the Password. In that, you will get a detailed report of your call history.
How to Recover Deleted Call History for Jio Users
Using the dedicated My Jio app, you can get your call history details instantly in a few seconds. If you haven’t installed the My Jio app, install it on your phone from the Play Store or App Store.
1. Launch the app and complete the login process using your mobile number.
2. On the main page of the Jio app, click on the Mobile option, and tap My Statement below the Recharges and Payments section.
3. From the My Statement page, select the time period for the call history report. If you need the call history for more than 30 days, select Custom Dates and choose your preferred time period. You can generate statements for a maximum of the last 180 days.
4. After selecting the time period, you can get the call history report via email, download the statement directly to your phone, or view it instantly on the app. Tap View Statement to instantly see the report on the app.
5. Click on the Usage Charges at the top of the screen and tap Voice.
6. Now, your mobile number’s call history for the selected period will appear on the app.
Can I Recover the Deleted Call History for My BSNL Number?
Yes. You can check and recover call history for your BSNL number either by visiting the BSNL Self-Care portal or installing the BSNL Self-Care app from the Play Store or App Store. You can also get your phone number’s call history using the USSD code. Just dial *123# on your phone to get a detailed report of your call history.
