Before proceeding to the steps, make sure the photos you want to set as the wallpaper are available on the Photos App.

1. Unlock your iPhone and long-press the Lock Screen. Now, you will enter into the lock screen customization interface.

2. Swipe right and click the Plus icon.

3. You will be taken to the Wallpaper customization screen. Here, locate and choose the option Photo Shuffle.

4. You can see two options on the phone screen – Choose Photos Manually or Choose Album.

  • If you have already created and stored the photos in a particular album on the Photos app, click the Choose Album and select your desired album collection.
  • Select the option Choose Photos Manually and select your desired photos from the Photos app. Then, tap Add. You can select up to fifty photos for the Shuffle.

5. Edit the Wallpaper Photo

Now, you will see the lock screen customization interface on the phone.

  • Hit the Gallery icon at the bottom left to view all the photos you have added for the lock screen shuffle. Pick any photo of your choice and change the filter according to your wish.
  • Long-press the Time and Date to change its font color and style.

  • Then, add the widget icons of your choice on the lock screen. You can customize every photo you have added according to your preference.
  • If you want to delete a photo from the collection, select the Gallery icon and tap Select at the bottom right. Choose the photo you want to delete and hit the Trash icon at the bottom left.

6. Set Shuffle Frequency for Lock Screen Wallpaper

On the Edit interface, locate and tap the three-dotted icon. Then, choose your desired Shuffle Frequency option.

  • Daily – The lock screen wallpaper will be changed every day automatically if you have selected this option.
  • Hourly – To change the lock screen photo on the iPhone for every hour, click this option.
  • On Lock – If you want to change the lock screen photo automatically whenever you lock and unlock the screen every time, you need to select this option.
  • On Tap – The lock screen photo wallpaper on your iPhone will be changed whenever you tap the screen.

7. Once done, hit the Add option at the top-right and then choose the option Set as Wallpaper Pair (Whatever wallpaper is on the lock screen, it will be displayed as the home screen wallpaper) or Customize Home Screen (Select a new photo from the Gallery and set it as the home screen).

8. Finally, select Done to set multiple pictures as the lock screen wallpaper on your iPhone.
